DIGITALHERITAGE2025 EXPO

DigitalHeritageExpo is the largest exhibition on Digital Heritage ever organized. In its previous editions (2013, 2015, 2018), the Expo attracted over 5,000 visitors, spanning more than 2,000 sqm of exhibition space. Each edition, the Exhibition Chairs select five distinct categories for the Call4Exhibit, highlighting innovation across multiple sectors.

The upcoming edition will be supported by BMTA’s Archeovirtual and hosted at the University of Siena from September 8th to 12th, 2025.

The Call4Exhibit will embrace immersive and interactive technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Extended Reality (XR), alongside innovative solutions in areas like 3D printing, holography, digital publishing, restoration technologies, and sensor-based applications. We invite companies specializing in 3D sensors, software development, and related fields to present their cutting-edge products and innovations, especially those that offer new ways to engage with and study cultural heritage.

The solutions should reflect a broad spectrum of digital heritage applications, incorporating a range of technologies beyond VR/AR/XR. Innovations in fields such as art, digital art, archaeology, restoration, publishing, museum experiences, libraries, and archives are particularly encouraged. The exhibition will explore everything from historical reconstructions and immersive storytelling to digital preservation and dissemination of cultural assets, offering a rich and comprehensive journey through over 5,000 years of human history and diverse global cultures.

We encourage applications from:

  • Institutions and organizations specializing in art, digital art, archaeology, museum and gallery experiences, restoration, and digital publishing.
  • Companies developing innovative solutions in VR/AR/XR, 3D sensors, software development, holography, 3D printing, and related fields.
  • Those offering new and innovative ways to engage with, study, and preserve cultural heritage through digital tools and immersive experiences.
